Hello!

I am Mike and I’m a Creative, Art Director and Illustrator with more than 20 years of experience. I’ve been teaching, drawing, painting and participating in different events for companies like Barnes & Noble helping young people pursuing art careers. I’m the creator of my own characters and comic books, such as The Cell Organization. I also work for independent film companies as an Art Director in their films, which have gone to festivals, such as Tribeca Film Festival, Canada International Film Festival, Macom Film Festival, Riverside Film Festival, San Francisco Film Festival.

We are all living unprecedented times, but we need to keep our lives in good spirits. Therefore, I have decided to share the MAGIC of ART.
You will be able to learn many various techniques for all different group ages. Classes will be available via ZOOM in ENGLISH AND SPANISH.

Students and groups:

At Mike Ink Art School we count with 3 different groups of students.

We want to help you visualize your ideas for any artwork that you have in mind and teach you the theory and principles of drawing so you can be creative in anything you do.

Objectives:

To enhance and create a better appreciation of all type of art, specially the beginning of every idea, starting with a sketch and then evolving it into something more. All these classes will help each student to create ideas from a very early stage that will lead to any visual solution and opportunity that comes up at school, work, etc. Every idea on a piece of paper is really valuable. We have more than 20 years of experience teaching, art directing and developing great programs for kids and families in different areas like: Comic books, Illustration, Digital Design, Advertising.
